I don´t think anyone mind if you write in english. It´s definitely easier to understand than google translate.😉

Keep an eye on this forum. There are more or less always an active thread or two about ferrets in need of a new home.

You have probably seen this already but 3 year old Jimmy need a new home.

You can even find pictures of Jimmy in the users gallery

I saw that you have already commented in the other thread about the small ferret family of three.

To add a little about cages.
In Sweden a ferret cage, by law, needs to be at least 5 sqm in area and the shortest side and height has to be at least 1 m. Thats why most ferret owners in sweden ferret proof their house/apartment so the ferrets can roam free like a cat or at least have a ferret proof room where the ferrets can stay when no one is home to keep an eye on them.

Haha ok I will write in english for now on, thank you for letting me know

I did know about the law and think it's great I've had friends in the states who keep their ferrets caged most of the time or in a small room at all times and it never seemed fair to me.

I am having a little difficulty finding where I might be able to by ferret food though, from what I've seen Arken Zoo doesn't sell it and as I am new to Sweden I don't know any other pet stores.

Yes I have commented on posts and check pretty much daily thank you for that link!

On the net you can find;

Carnia Lynx here:
http://animail.se/katt/kattmat?manufacturer=353

Orijen cat here:
http://animail.se/katt/kattmat?manufacturer=160
and here
http://ferretplanet.se/Torr_foder-k37-0-3-default.html

Ferret food
Ferretastic and Totally ferret here:
http://ferretplanet.se/Torr_foder-k37-0-3-default.html
Vitalin ferret here:
http://www.amhs-illertorg.se/shop/index.php?cPath=32&osCsid=1f5d3e83a5ce23743f0db2af556c3c50

Though Carnia and Orijen are considered very good ferret food thanks to their low content of carbohydrates.

I've been shopping from all 3 sites and it works well.

The 2 small ferret sites uses Plusgiro and you have to pay your invoice before delivery. The owners of FerretPlanet and Amhs are both members here on Iller iFokus. Good people.
