"The animal proteins and fats in Complete mainly come from chicken and fish. Complete contains more than 30 % chicken. Furthermore, chicken has a high biological value because of its high content of essential amino acids and is highly digestible. Fish is an important source of omega 3.

Taurin is a sulphurous amino acid present in ingredients of animal origin. Taurin plays an important role in the proper functioning of the heart muscle and is therefore added to Ferret Complete.

Ferrets are not rodents but carnivores (meat eaters). As a result, they have great need for nutrients of animal origin. Their diet requires a high protein content (36 %) and a high fat content (19 %) such as provided in Ferret Complete.

The addition of essential vitamins to the Complete feeds supports general health. Vitamin A is important for the renewal of the skin cells, the sight, reproduction and metabolism. Vitamin D3 stimulates the intake of calcium/phosphorus and thus supports the bones. Vitamin E and C are important antioxidants that protect the body against free radicals. Both vitamins also enhance the organism's natural resistance. Guinea pigs are unable to produce Vitamin C in their bodies themselves. For these small animals ingestion of this vitamin by the feed is therefore of vital impor-tance. All other Complete feeds have also been enriched with stabilised vitamin C. In contrast to the crystalline form, stabilised vitamin C is much less liable to oxidation and biodegradation and therefore remains much longer active.

The unique addition of prebiotics, Fructo-OligoSaccharides (FOS) and Mannan-OligoSaccharides (MOS), has a healthy influence on the intestine's microflora. In this way, an optimal intestinal balance and proper intestinal function are ensured.

The addition of natural plant pigments, lutein and ß-carotene, has a positive impact on the general resistance and condition. On the one hand, these carotenoids are known as powerful biological."
